With this petition, I aim to reduce our planet’s plastic waste and create an eco-friendly environment. A lot of places have this kind of problem, stacked up plastic waste that does not decompose for years, causing blocked sewers that cause floods to worsen in multiple places. Aside from being more durable than the traditional plastic we use when we go out for grocery shopping, using eco-friendly bags have a lot of benefits. The use of eco-friendly bags means less plastic waste in the environment, less fossil fuels and natural resources used for years to come, support and show environmental friendliness. Most reusable bags, if made out of natural materials, are biodegradable. Using these type of bags when going out for grocery can help not only our family, but also our community and at the same time, our environment.
